The Arrows beat Madison three times, which ran their string to 15-straight wins. In the Sectional game Chris Baughman had a career night with 25-points against the Rams. Although he led the team with 18-points in the finals against Mansfield, the agony of another one-point defeat sprang up, when he converted only one of three free throws after a foul on his three-point shot at the buzzer. MVP Lance Frank, a tri-MVP in the OCC, led the team in scoring (346 pts), rebounds (117), and the best FT percentage (73.8) including a string of 25 straight. Amazingly he jumped from a JV to honorable mention All-Ohio in one season. Chris Baughman was 2nd in scoring (234 pts) and the leader in assists (52) and steals (50). Dan Hess led the team with 49 three-pointers, and Anthony Bell scored 189 points with the best field goal percentage of 47.2%. This was the first year in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. |
