Although Coach Hess’s team suffered through the first 20-loss season in history, they pulled off arguably the greatest AHS upset, when the (0-8) Arrows shocked the league leading (4-0) Mansfield Tygers in a 65-55 overtime game. Garrett Denbow poured in 26 points, and Kleijhan Randleman scored 17 points, while the A’s sank 21 2nd half charity tosses.
MVP Garrett Denbow led the team in scoring with 313 points Other banquet awards went: to: Manny Langston (297 rebounds), Mitch Heilman (48 assists), and Keagan Armitage, the George Valentine Sportsmanship award. |
