Simple fact: Coach Tim Fralick’s squad was the best team in the first 107 years of AHS basketball: a 22-2 record, 22-straight wins, undefeated OCC champs, Sectional winners, while losing only to two regional tournament teams. The A’s were led by four magnificent seniors: Isaac White (3rd team All-Ohio, plus OCC & District 6 Player of the Year), Brett Vipperman (1st team: OCC, District 6, & the T-G squad), Trey Smith (619 career pts & 294 assists), and Drew Dickinson, the fan’s favorite.
The co-MVPs were Isaac White (career record holder in pts & treys), who had 428 pts, and Brett Vipperman with 421 pts. the best one-two tandem in school history.
Special awards when to: Co-Defensive Players of the year: Trey Smith & Grant Denbow (a 2nd generation undefeated league champion like his Dad Dick in 1945). The Arrow of the Year was Drew Dickinson, and the George Valentine Sportsmanship award went to Logan Brewer.
The super subs were: defensive wizard Zach Stoops and 3-point specialist John Wolfe. Tim Fralick was selected Coach of the Year by the OCC, the Times-Gazette, and District Six. His team held opponents to under a 50 points per game average until the Lima Senior loss, and the offense set the all-time record with 195 triples for the season and 14 in a single game vs Massillon Washington HS.

Head Coach Tim Fralick, Isaac White, Athletic Director Rick Brindley 1/31/2015 Career Record. |
