In a season marked by two last second one-point wins against Tiffin and Colonel Crawford it was the Mansfield Senior game that left an imprint. In the final 2:27 Shawn Kelley, first-time starter, had three assist, two free throws, and one steal when he fed Tim Norris for two baskets to defeat an undermanned Tyger team. Jeff Honaker, who had 17-points that night, was the MVP for the season and first-team OHC with 311 points. Tim Norris led the team in rebounds and field goal accuracy. Ben Johnson (three-points), Jeff Gierhart (free throw accuracy) and Shawn Kelley (assists) were the other offensive leaders. Karl Singleton (best defensive player), Matt Timmons (Hustle Award), and Craig Starkey (Most Improved) received the other honors at the season-ending banquet.
