For the 4th time AHS played another season without a home floor, but even worse the team never practiced together at any one time. Again most of the high school boys played in the YMCA leagues. After being soundly defeated in road games at Mansfield and Crestline, they played the respectable local YMCA team known as the Tigers. While AHS players Swaisgood and Otter had been starters for the Tigers earlier, the A’s outplayed them in “every respect of the game” according to the Yearbook. The A’s continued the streak of at least a win in each season despite their home court disadvantage. |
