The A’s had the most wins (11) and the best record (11-3) in the first dozen years of AHS basket ball, and they played in the notable Ohio Wesleyan tournament for the first time. They advanced to the third round at Delaware. Russell Sattler was the team captain, and the top three scorers were: Paul Curry (122 pts), Eddie Wells (120 pts), and Arthur Vlerebome (100 pts). The significant post-season development was the formation of the North Central Ohio League for the 1919-20 Football and basketball seasons. Its history is on the website: www.3lhloh.org. |
