The A’s played a schedule with “no soft spots,” and finished with a losing record. Capt. Ducky Hazen and Frank Zercher were chosen to the all-NCO team. They led the Orange and Black in scoring: Zercher (87 pts) and Hazen (80 pts). They had a surprising win over Columbus North, and they beat Shelby and Wooster twice. Coach Starn lost eight of the top 13 players to graduation.
